A WORLD INSPIRED BY THE PAINTING

This 360-degree visualization invites visitors into a space inspired by Van Gogh’s “Farmhouses Among Trees”, held in the museum’s collection. The 3D-rendered environment is enhanced with filters that emulate brushstrokes and alter the perceived geometry to create the illusion of walking through a hand-painted world.

BEYOND THE FRAME

The immersive environment not only recreates the original scene depicted in the painting, but also expands it—adding a matching rural landscape. The entire visualization is enriched with binaural recordings of birdsong, ambient nature, and village life, all seamlessly integrated into the virtual experience.

A VIRTUAL JOURNEY INTO THE PAST

This short, meditative session transports visitors to the heart of a 19th-century Dutch village on a late afternoon. For a few moments, users can feel as if they’ve stepped into Van Gogh’s shoes—discovering fragments of the world that once inspired his art.
